The BDC Chairpersons and District Development Council members elected on the mandate of J&K National Panthers Party (JKNPP) have supported Harsh Dev Singh as the State President of the Party. In a meeting convened today seven Chairpersons/DDC members expressed their full solidarity with the Former Minister and announced their wholehearted support to him. In a resolution sent to ECI, the elected leaders of the Party from various Blocks apprised the CEC about the attempts of certain way-wards and vested interests to destabilize the Party in collusion with BJP and other parties.

The signatories to the resolution included Dina Nath (BDC Chairman Majalta Block); Des Raj (BDC Chairman Ramnagar Block); Sushma Kumari (BDC Chairperson Kulwanta Block); Neelam Devi (BDC Chairperson Parly Dhar Block); Darshan Kumar (BDC Chairman Latti Block); Ashri Devi (DDC Dudu Basantgarh Block); Om Parkash (BDC Chairman (elect) Khoon Block).  Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Dina Nath Chairman Majalta Block and Des Raj Chairman Ramnagar Block said that Harsh Dev is the only leader in J&K who is confronting the dictatorial regime of BJP and fighting for the cause of poor, downtrodden and underprivileged sections of society.

They said that Harsh Dev had so endeared himself to the common masses by his dedication and commitment to their cause that BJP and other opposition leaders were feeling alarmed. “We stand with Harsh Dev Singh irrespective of the Party.
We emerged victorious in various Blocks Elections and in previous Assembly Elections only due to Harsh Ji. He is the masiha of the poor. The BJP is conspiring to weaken him. We shall never allow their nefarious designs to succeed”, said the BDC Chairmen.   Mrs. Ashri Devi DDC and Mrs. Neelam Devi Chairpersons said that they were in Panthers Party only because of Harsh Dev Singh. Describing the Former Education Minister as the only hope of the poor, they cautioned the opportunist leaders to refrain from conspiring against their leader at the behest of BJP. He said that such intrigues and caballing against Harsh Dev was sufficient proof that BJP was scared of him and his growing popularity.
